Luke Baker's Notes From The Campaign Trail
Dad and I drove to Hot Springs Village for the GOP meeting Tuesday. We met some wonderful folks, and thought the “village” was super cool! I also got to meet a Larry Griffin who is the Chairman. Larry is doing a fantastic job along with many others… From there, we hauled it to the Pulaski County TEA Party “Open Mic” event at the Little Rock Library. It was a great crowd, and we received an enthusiastic response from everyone. It’s amazing to see how fired up people are about this election cycle. There’s no doubt in my mind that we as Arkansans are stepping up to the plate and holding the conservative bat high, preparing for that home run swing this November!
All these trips with my Dad are very exciting. One of my job responsibilities is to make sure we get from point A to point B as efficiently as possible. The secret to our success is a good fuel stop—I don’t mean gas—you’d be shocked at how much coffee the two of us consume in a single trip!
These trips can be rather stressful, but thanks to some strong coffee and the trusty TomTom, we are almost always on time!
I look forward to seeing more of you along the campaign trail!
