Gilbert Baker Ahead of Lincoln and Halter in Rasmussen Reports Poll

“My conservative message is clearly resonating and their liberal agenda is not.”

Conway, Ark. – U.S. Senate Candidate Senator Gilbert Baker has issued the following statement in response to the latest Rasmussen Reports Poll showing Baker ahead of  Sen. Blanche Lincoln 45%- 40%, as well as outpacing Democratic Primary challenger, Lt. Gov. Bill Halter 44% - 37%:

“This Rasmussen Poll is another indication that Democrats are losing favor with the people of Arkansas.  For me to poll five points ahead (45% - 40%) of Blanche Lincoln, and seven points ahead (44% - 37%) of Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, indicates my conservative message is clearly resonating and their liberal agenda is not.  There’s an overwhelming movement to get rid of liberals from our state capitol to our nation’s capitol, and my winning this US Senate race is key to restoring common sense conservative values in Washington D.C.”
